We call them the "SAWA Heroes". They have lifted people out of extreme poverty, protected and empowered neglected children and youth, halted major diseases and found new ways to restore the natural environment.

Mission:

(1) Celebrate the efforts of inspiring local heroes in the poorest countries

To empower unknown leaders from the world's 50 poorest countries to showcase to the world, via short videos and online technology, their successful grassroots initiatives with innovative solutions to the urgent global challenges.

(2) Connect global citizens (directly) to the inspiring local heroes in the poorest counties

To encourage people from all nationalities to interact directly to the extraordinary local leaders through SAWA's website platform and acting as personal mentors, sharing their skills and work in partnership with the unknown heroes to grow their project success.

The world is full solutions to extreme poverty, social inequality, and environmental degradation, and SAWA Global is a recognized and respected leader in showcasing these solutions and connecting people to the unknown heroes of global change.
