Story Acceptance 

All submitted applications will be reviewed by a SAWA screening panel. The panel will assess for appropriate content and alignment with the four submission criteria.

The Panel will also review the story for the following five measures:

1. The level of hope and inspiration that the project promotes;
2. The amount of local people that are positively affected by the project;
3. The practical and long-term suitability to resolve one or more of the seven SAWA Themes;
4. The level of ease by which the general public can assist the project; and
5. The quality of the visual images.

Our staff will notify you when your story is approved. We do not anticipate more than 14 days to upload your story on our website from the time we receive your application, pending on Panel approval and appropriate visual images and video clip.
